The shelf is made of acrylic, technically called methacrylate. Acrylic is thermoformable and precisely this feature is what allows us to personalize the Anita shelf with the word or name you want.

Let’s start with the letters. The thickness is 3mm. Each letter can be circumscribed in a rectangular prism 15 cm high, 10 cm wide and 8 cm deep. There is one exception, the I (Latin i). As it is a flat piece, the width equals the material thickness.

The base is 6 mm thick and is available in different lengths, 40, 52, 62, 72 and 82 cm.

The distance between the letters is 2 cm but it can vary slightly according to each letter. This is done so that the chosen word is well compensated visually.

No. When setting up a custom word, it is important to note the number of letters in the word. In the configurator, there is an option that says “No of letters – base length”. Well, you must choose, at least, the base that contains the number of letters of the word, or higher.

For example with the name JAMES: you must choose, at least, the base of 5 letters (5L – 62 cm) or any other larger base but never shorter, otherwise there would not be enough space for the letters.

The maximum number of letters that a word can have is 7. It has been limited to 7 to facilitate transport and minimize incidents.

You will have to mount the shelf on the wall but not the product itself as it is factory assembled. Specifically, the letters are glued to the base; thus, the shelf is perfectly assembled and finished.

The colors for the letters are ice white, blue, red, fluor yellow, fluor orange, fluor green, fluor fuchsia and fluor red.

The base is colorless acrylic.

This might be due to the calibration of your screen when ordering, the perception of colors of each person, the type and source of light received by the material or the color/texture of the wall behind it. Even different batches of the same color may have slight variations in hue.

So, unless you had ordered it, for example, in blue and you had got it red, the answer is that it is normal to see small variations in color.

You can choose the color, the vertical position of the word, that is, if you want the word above or below the base, the horizontal position of the word, to the left, center or right, and most importantly, in the case of the personalized shelf Anita, you can define the word that will make it special and unique.

Acrylic is a rigid plastic and should be cleaned with a soft or damp cloth with water and a drop of neutral soap. Do not dry clean to avoid scratches on the material surface. To remove yellowish or greasy stains, it is recommended to use distilled water and soap.
